How to Apply Indian Air Force (IAF) AFCAT EKT APPLICATION FORM: Candidates are required to apply online by using the link https://afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT/ or https://afcat.cdac.in
Aadhar Card is mandatory for online registration. Detailed instructions for filling in the online application form.  

For IAF AFCAT EKT Candidates Only : click DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARD to download your Admit Card from the website https://afcat.cdac.in and you will also receive admit card on your registered email ID.

IAF AFCAT EKT Examination fee:  After filling in the online application form, the examination fee of Rs.250/- (non-refundable) for AFCAT entry (not applicable for NCC special entry) paid online through the Make Payment step on the main menu of the online application.

No cash or cheque or demand draft (DD) will be accepted towards payment of examination fee. The examination fee can be paid using credit/debit cards/ net banking through the payment gateway. Applicants are advised to follow the instructions/ steps given on the payment gateway, and also print/keep the transaction details for their records. After confirmation from bank that the payment is received, the Payment Status will display Registration Number which the candidate may note down for future correspondence. Simultaneously, the candidate will receive a confirmatory sms/ email. This will be followed by Admit Card (with the Hall Ticket Number) which a candidate will receive on his/her registered email ID.

IAF OFFERS : Pay on Commissioning (As per 7th CPC)

Rank : Flying Officer

Pay as per Defence Matrix : Rs. 56100 -177500

Level :10

MSP : Rs. 15500

Note. Flight Cadets shall receive a fixed stipend of Rs.56,100/-per month during one year of training.

Allowances: In addition to pay, allowances are applicable based on the nature of duty/ place of posting and it includes Flying, Technical, Field Area, Special Compensatory (Hill area), Special Force, Siachen, Island Special Duty, Test Pilot & Flight Test Engineer, Area and Remote Locality Allowance.

Privileges: Air Force Officers are entitled to furnished accommodation, comprehensive medical cover for self and dependents, Canteen, Officers Mess, loans at subsidised rates, LTC etc. Leave  (60 days annual and 20 days casual) subject to service exigencies

Insurance: Rs. 1 crore Insurance Cover (on contribution) is applicable to serving officers. An additional cover of Rs. 12 Lakhs (on contribution) is applicable to Flying Branch Officers.
